Three Home Improvements for Spring

Before you tackle a home improvement project, be sure it’s adding value to your home. Here are three updates that may give your home value a measurable boost.

1. Insulate your attic. Energy efficiency remains a top draw for buyers, and blow-in fiberglass insulation is an inexpensive way to make your home warmer in the winters and cooler in the summers.

2. Replace your garage door. New garage doors come equipped with better insulation and higher-strength steel, making for fewer dings and dents.

3. Upgrade your front door. Steel entry doors offer enhanced security and eliminate the hassle of flaking paint jobs down the road.

Spring Outings for Animal Lovers

Now that the weather is just glorious, and before it gets too hot, it’s time to explore some of the less known treasures of Florida. Whether you live on the east/central coast or are here seasonally or visiting, some of these destinations are worth a fun day trip!

If you’re big on big cats, you’ve got to put the Central Florida Animal Reserve near St Cloud on your list. You’ll have the option to go on a standard guided walking tour, a family tour, or a private walking tour, all of which give you an eye-opening and educational experience with some of the world’s most majestic kitties.

The Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Sanford make for an awesome day trip! If you’re interested in the wonders of animal conservation, you must check out the Endangered Species Tour at the Central Florida Zoo! Not only will you be able to view the animals in their habitats, you’ll also learn about these incredible creatures and how we can all help save them.

Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge in Orlando is also an excellent place to support animal preservation and enjoy a day with animals in their natural habitats. This non-profit organization is dedicated tof rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing injured or orphaned Florida Native wildlife back into their natural environment.

The Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna Beach offers boat tours, dolphin tours, educational events, and so much more! This center is a true gem, dedicated to exploration, education, and conservation.
